Café Rica is a Virginia based coffee company with roots that reach from one heartland to another. Virginia is one of the first settlements in the United States and is often seen as the heart of America. It is a place where tradition, community, and craftsmanship have shaped the way people live and create. This spirit is a big part of who we are.

Our coffee begins its journey in Tarrazu, the heart of Costa Rica. This region is known for its high mountains, rich volcanic soil, and cool forest climate. These natural conditions create some of the most vibrant and expressive Arabica beans in the world. Tarrazu is where the character of our coffee is born.

Café del Bosque Dorado is our flagship brand and it brings these two worlds together. Inspired by the forests and culture of Costa Rica and guided by the care and dedication of a Virginia based company, our goal is to share coffee that feels warm, honest, and full of life. Every bag reflects the connection between the place that grows our beans and the place that brings them to your cup.
